Aite-Novarica Group Launches New Corporate Banking Research Council

New members-only council offers a forum, proprietary research, and networking opportunities for corporate banking leaders.

Understanding that corporate banking leaders face unique challenges but have few venues for sharing industry knowledge, Aite-Novarica Group has launched a free, moderated knowledge-sharing group for senior bankers, including heads of corporate banking, transaction banking, and cash management.

Committed to building a platform that enables senior executives to network and share insights, Aite-Novarica Group officially launched the council earlier this month with a new member survey. The survey sought to understand members’ top priorities for 2022 and the readiness of their sales forces to sell products that meet the needs of more demanding corporate treasurers.

“The focus of this council evolved directly from exploratory conversations we had with senior-level executives in the banking industry,” says Christine Barry, Aite-Novarica Group Head of Banking & Payments Insights. “This isn’t the first council in the industry, but it offers a more executive-level strategic approach for senior executives, rather than the product-centric focus that exists in other councils,” she adds.

The council is primarily targeted at the 150 largest U.S. banks. Fifty-three banks are currently represented, including a mix of the largest U.S. banks, the U.S. operations of non-U.S. global banks, and smaller banks.

Annual membership is open to both Aite-Novarica Group clients and non-clients, and includes quarterly virtual meetings and community-based studies. Additionally, an annual in-person meeting will take place the day before Aite-Novarica Group’s Innovation in Cash Management and Payments Forum. Council members will receive a complimentary pass to attend the forum. Additional banks meeting the membership criteria are welcome to join.
