Insurers regularly experiment with emerging technologies to find more efficient and effective ways to manage information, workflow, and risk. Faced with many competing priorities, insurer CIOs must carefully select which pilots to support and which projects to operationalize.
This report aims to help CIOs make these decisions by providing high-level benchmarking information to help insurers understand which technologies their peer organizations have deployed or are piloting. It draws from a survey of 42 property/casualty insurer CIO members of the Datos Insights Insurance Technology Research Council conducted in Q2 2024.
