Boston, May 18, 2021 While portfolio trading, or the simultaneous execution of a group of bonds, is hardly a new concept, the practice is turning long-lived trading methods and market structure upside-down in recent years. Investors have long recognized the need to trade baskets of fixed income securities. The ability to increase the certainty of a trade lies at the heart of portfolio trading and has been a major selling point for its adoption, saving both time and investment risk.
