Ben Deufel has over 20 years of experience serving senior decision-makers with research-based thought leadership and actionable data analysis. His teams have leveraged quantitative surveys, user experience testing, best-practice case studies, in-depth interviews, focus groups, benchmarks, and diagnostic tools to deliver client outcomes. Ben has also led the development of new research-based products, research capabilities, and teams across a variety of contexts.
Ben led CEB's global research and advisory team for the Financial Services practice. He launched and managed its financial services quantitative insights team and directed its retail banking research and advisory team. He played a leadership role in integrating the Financial Services practice during Gartner's acquisition of CEB.
Ben holds a bachelor’s degree (summa cum laude) in Political Science from Wabash College and a Ph.D. in Political Science from Harvard University.
