This report, the third in the series on implementing agentic AI in wealth management, moves from diagnosis to prescription. Part I established managed autonomy as the viable governance framework for agentic AI deployment. Part II documented the infrastructure barriers that prevent most firms from operationalizing that framework. That diagnostic work is essential—but constraints are not the same as dead ends.
This report examines three implementation pathways suited to different enterprise models, a vendor selection framework grounded in production realities, and a phased roadmap that sequences execution to build organizational confidence before expanding scope. It draws on two Datos Insights surveys: the Q2 2024 Survey of Wealth Management Executives and the Q3 2025 Advisor Survey. It is further informed by industry implementations at major financial institutions, AI vendor partnerships and platform economics, and direct conversations with technology leaders navigating agentic AI deployment in production environments.
