Manager, Research Design & Data

Sonia Kundal is Manager of the Research Design & Data team (Datos Insights’ quantitative research team), in which capacity she oversees the design and implementation of both B2C and B2B research projects, manages project budgets and vendor relationships, and supports research deliverables across various financial product groups. She is a seasoned market researcher with over 15 years’ experience in designing frameworks for quantitative and qualitative research, enabling clients to develop effective go-to-market strategies. She has a strong background in survey design, programming, and statistical data analysis.

Before joining Datos Insights, Sonia worked as a Senior Data Analyst at Corporate Executive Board (CEB, now Gartner), where she worked in the Human Capital practice researching areas such as employee engagement, retention, and employment branding. Based on insights collected from interviews with HR professionals and quantitative employee surveys, she contributed to briefs, case studies, presentations, webinar decks, benchmarking tools, and dashboards.

With over a decade-long tenure in Germany and earlier years spent in India, she has cultivated a profound understanding of cross-cultural dynamics, leveraging this strength to foster collaboration and innovation in her professional endeavors.

Sonia holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi and is fluent in English, German, and Hindi.
