/

Boston, May 14, 2020 –As the world grapples with the COVID-19 pandemic, P&C insurance carriers in the U.S. are dealing with a whole new set of concerns, both present and future. Aite Group has identified four areas that should receive immediate attention from these carriers: policyholder communication, fraud exposure, technology enhancement, and litigation exposure. P&C insurance carriers likely cannot solve these problems entirely, so what steps can they take to blunt the pandemic’s impact on both themselves and their policyholders?

This report gauges the impact of the pandemic on P&C carriers and provides guidance from executives on what steps their respective carriers are taking to deal with any impact. It is based on April 2020 Aite Group interviews with executives from 12 U.S.-based P&C insurance carriers.

This 15-page Impact Report contains three figures and one table. Clients of Aite Group’s P&C Insurance service can download this report, the corresponding charts, and the Executive Impact Deck.
